On September 4, 2012 the solemn opening of Gyumri Medical Center was held which marked the beginning of the introduction of modern medical care in Shirak marz, RA. Gyumri Medical Center is located in a monolithic building with high seismic stability which meets modern international standards and is unique in its kind in the marzes of Armenia. Residents of Gyumri felt the necessity of this state-of-the-art medical center built in their city. It has been already two years the Center offers its high quality medical services to people living in Shirak Marz. The new medical center provides an opportunity to get a high quality, modern and affordable medical care for the population of Shirak Marz, in particular people living in Gyumri.
